Far South Film presents a 2-day youth workshop for ages 12 to 18
Dates (students attend both days)
- Day 1: 10.00am to 3.30pm on Friday 16 April 2021
- Day 2: 10.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday 24 April 2021

Venue: Level 1, Funhouse Studio, 104 Auckland St Bega

Workshop Content
Do you like Twitch, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, streaming, YouTubing? Interested in learning about streaming technologies and how to add interactive effects to your streams?
During this workshop you will learn:
• Fundamentals of live streaming
• How to create Instagram-style face filters using SparkAR
• How to create interactive visual effects with TouchDesigner
• How to create 3D characters
• How to capture video of your characters
• How to livestream / record an event using OBS
The performance will be projected during the workshop and available via private link after the workshop so you can share with your family!
What to bring/prepare:
- Water bottle, drinks, snacks, packed lunch, pen and paper
- If possible, laptop computer with charging cable and a reliable way to connect to the Internet via an internal SIM card or using your mobile phone’s hotspot
- If bringing a device, please download and install the following before you come to the workshop:

- On day 2 only: Comfortable clothing/shoes suitable for dance performance
Students must abide by Far South Film’s COVID-Safe protocols during the workshop which includes social distancing, sanitising and may include mask-wearing.
