Filmmaking 101 MORUYA Sat 5 December 2020

This one day digital filmmaking workshop with Rima Bos was a hands-on intensive day using new technologies and devices. Participants were offered instruction in the basics of storytelling and screenwriting, pre-production and planning, film camera composition and shooting, editing techniques and strategies for creating short films.
This one day workshop was the perfect place to get a feel of what it takes to create short films that can be entered in film festivals.

Make A Movie BEGA Sat 14 and Sat 21 November 2020

2 x 1 day workshops with Lis Shelley and Jared Auer covered basic techniques using mobile devices and digital SLR cameras, lighting, sound, framing, storyboarding, shotlists, the 180 degree rule before students headed into the wild to film their own short films. The second day was devoted to editing techniques, including rough cut, fine cut, cut methods, sound overlays, transitions, effects and titles.
