For anyone who is living with disability that is interested in a career in the screen industry there is a unique opportunity offered by Create NSW for an internship with Far South Film in 2026. This is part of the 25/26 Creatability Internship and Far South Film has been shortlisted as a host.
Applications are now open and close at 2pm on 15 December, 2025.
There are 2 roles being offered – one is a Production Assistant for the 2026 Far South Film Festival, to support the Festival Director, Producer and team. Responsibilities will be customized to the intern’s skills and interests, offering focused development in one or two areas or a broader range of duties. The other role is Production Assistant to support various film productions in SE NSW during 2026. These productions encompass music videos, commercials and narrative or documentary films across all stages of development, pre-production, shooting, or post-production.
Successful applicants will be paid directly by the host organisation for up to four weeks or up to eight weeks.
